Night Shift Part-Time General Laborer

Location: Hartford, CT
Schedule: 2‑3‑2 rotating night shift (7 PM – 7 AM)

  • Option 1: Monday, Tuesday & every other Saturday

  • Option 2: Wednesday, Thursday & every other Saturday
    Pay: Starting at $17.50/hr + $0.75/hr night shift differential
    Type: Part-Time

Our Hartford facility is looking for motivated Night Shift Part-Time General Laborers to join our team. This role is an excellent entry point for individuals interested in learning the printing and manufacturing process, with opportunities to advance into full-time Machine Operator positions and beyond.

What You’ll Do

  • Remove finished products from bindery equipment

  • Stack, organize, bundle, and transfer products onto pallets or tables

  • Move materials using hand jacks, Big Joe lifts, or forklifts (training provided)

  • Follow all quality, safety, and production guidelines

  • Assist with special handwork and customer-specific requests

  • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas

  • Communicate effectively with team members

What We’re Looking For

  • 18 years or older

  • Strong mechanical aptitude (printing/factory experience is a plus)

  • Ability to read/write measurements and follow instructions

  • Basic computer/touchscreen skills

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand/wrist tasks

  • Ability to lift 10–20 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally

  • Ability to move materials from pallets (up to 48″) to work surfaces (42″)

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

  • Team player with the ability to work independently
