Network Technology Technician

What You’ll Do

As a Network Technology Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, disconnecting, and troubleshooting video, internet, phone, and home automation services.

  • Performing maintenance to ensure Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) networks meet performance standards.

  • Maintaining and repairing network equipment and company vehicles.

  • Stocking vehicles with equipment and supplies.

  • Communicating with dispatch and supervisors for service updates and assistance.

  • Educating customers on services and promoting additional offerings.

  • Using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely.

  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone with a problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED with 5 years of related experience, OR 7 years of equivalent hands-on experience.

  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience.

  • Hands-on experience in a technical or trade role.

  • Proficiency with PC and Windows software.

  • Ability to work shifts and occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or technical certifications.

  • 5+ years in service installation and repair within telecommunications or similar industries.

  • Spanish language skills (desirable in some locations).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and use tools and equipment.

  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces, extreme weather, and varied terrain.

  • Ability to operate aerial lifts, vehicles, and other service equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $29.38 – $44.09, with potential for bonuses and incentives.
