About the Job
Villa at West Branch is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas of the facility to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities

Collect and dispose of trash, ensuring liners are properly placed in containers.

Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors daily.

Empty trash bins and maintain cleanliness around dumpster areas.

Clean walls, ceilings, windows, stairways, hallways, and light fixtures.

Maintain cleanliness of utility rooms and housekeeping closets.

Hang draperies and privacy curtains when required.

Follow all sanitation and safety standards.

Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
-
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
Education & Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Experience in a long-term care or healthcare facility is a plus.
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and climbing.

Must be able to push, pull, and handle cleaning materials and equipment.
