Information Technology Associate, Seasonal

Hourly Rate: $24.00 – $25.00

Overview

Join the team at California’s Great America and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to both guests and associates. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on IT support across the park, helping ensure smooth operations and memorable guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze, prioritize, and resolve issues related to Point-of-Sale (POS), debit/credit systems, and related technologies

  • Provide on-site and phone-based IT helpdesk support

  • Troubleshoot and resolve in-house and third-party software and hardware issues

  • Perform system upgrades and preventative maintenance on PCs

  • Execute daily system routines and maintenance tasks

  • Research and resolve complex technical issues using creative, expert-level solutions

  • Ensure compliance with departmental and company-wide policies and procedures

  • Continuously learn and expand your technical knowledge

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues

  • Working knowledge of network topologies (e.g., Ethernet, 100BaseT)

  • Understanding of network protocols and tools (TCP/IP, FTP, Telnet/SSH, VNC)

  • Networking experience is an asset

  • Valid California Driver’s License (G2/G); driver’s abstract required upon hire

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and provide your own safety shoes

  • Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
